Every year since 2004 I've visited Paignton Zoo on my holidays and it never fails to provide a fun day out.

The animals always seem happy and it's nice to see the new arrivals around the zoo, from baby meerkats to giraffes.
I can honestly say that Paignton Zoo is an amazing day out for anyone and would…» read more

Paignton Zoo is a great day out - lots of animals, lots of plants, lots of space. It's ideal for families but people of all ages will have a good time. It's fun and surprising and exciting and unpredictable. My advice - be patient, look everywhere and if you don't see what you are looking for, come back later. And the shopping is excellent!

Family of three including a four year old, our third visit in last 12 months. A good day out, but pace yourselves. Stops for drinks, parrot show and picnic all made the walk to far end for the Elephants & Giraffes acceptable. An afternoon winding back through Apes, Lemurs, Big Cats, a train ride, and cream tea made a day to suit all.
